Anna Sharratt

From handcraft to Nordic foods, from frilufstliv (“open air life”) to holiday traditions, Anna Sharratt is passionate about building community while exploring Nordic crafts and traditions in creative ways. An educator of 25 years and the founder of Free Forest School, Anna has facilitated learning in kitchens, forests, classrooms, and craft rooms with students of all ages. Anna was the recipient of the Folk Artist Fellowship through the American Scandinavian Foundation to study youth slöjd (craft) instruction in Sweden during Fall 2022. Anna lives in South Minneapolis with her partner and three kiddos.
