Nordic Handcraft Workshop: Needle Felted Holiday Tomte Workshop with Jen Newburg

Explore the art of needle felting with felter Jen Newburg and create a woolen tomte figurine.

Create a sweet woolly tomte to take home with you this holiday season! In this hands on workshop, felter Jen Newburg will provide a colorful array of wool batting and plenty of design inspiration to guide students through shaping and decorating a tomte (Scandinavian folklore figure) using basic needle felting techniques. Then, students will finish by adding a string to create an ornament perfect for gifting or decorating for the holidays.
