Nordic Handcraft Workshop: Handmade Giftwrap with Jeanne McGee

Join instructor Jeanne McGee to create handmade gift wrap in this two-hour workshop.

Make your own line of festive gift wrap this holiday season! Jeanne will share inspiration for how simple forms can be combined and repeated for making impactful designs. Students will sketch a few designs, transferring them to rubber, and carve one or more small stamps. Finally, students will have the opportunity to print some gift tags, bags and paper for wrapping. Students will leave with their stamps and the tools to make even more gift-wrapping materials at home.

Additional information:

• Advanced registration required.
• A $40 materials fee is payable to the instructor in class and covers stamp carving materials and some assorted gift wrap options.
• Students get to take their stamps and stamp making tools home.

Prerequisites:

• Skill level: Open to all skill levels.
• Ages: Suitable for ages 18+.
