Unique Language Learning Experiences

The American Swedish Institute offers a variety of unique lectures, writing workshops, conversations and special events that explore Swedish and Finnish languages and Nordic culture. These expansion classes are typically offered between nine-week terms, in the summer and winter. Classes focus on a diverse range of subjects—from Scandinavian history, music, and literature to birding, pop culture and famous Scandinavian and Swedish-American icons.
