Keep up with your Swedish by reading a short Swedish novel with Gunn Edberg-Caldwell.
This class meets weekly on Mondays from January 4–25, 2027.
This January term, read the lättläst (abridged) novel Kanotklubben by Sara Paborn. Over the course of four weeks, students will read and discuss the novel together in Swedish, reading about 12-15 pages per week. This class, taught by Gunn Edberg-Caldwell, is suitable for students at the A2 (Beginning III) level of Swedish and above (your regular class is in the second half of Rivstart A1/A2). Required materials: Kanotklubben (lättläst) by Sara Paborn. Advanced registration required.
