This class, taught by Rachel Willson-Broyles, will introduce the grammar topic of morphology with examples and handouts, and you can expect some in-class exercises and group work. Grammar terms will also be introduced and explained. In linguistics, morphology is the study of words, and there are many intriguing aspects of word-building in Swedish to explore. In this class, we will discuss compound words and their formation as well as prefixes (such as o-) and suffixes (such as -ig) and how they work.
