Mansion Musings: Stewardship of Place and Community

September 14, 2021 By Lizzy Rode

The Turnblad Mansion has been a place of storytelling for more than 100 years and the building has influenced generations of community members in ways both large and small.  Architect and ASI Trustee Michael Bjornberg holds this historic building and all it represents in a special place in his heart as his experiences here have profoundly influenced his life, his career, and his interests over many years.

In this episode of Mansion Musings, Michael joins Curt Pederson to share how his own perspective on stewardship and community were shaped by his experiences at ASI as a child. Together, Michael and Curt explore what makes the Turnblad Mansion so valuable a place for gathering and storytelling.
