ASI’s Preschool Program creates opportunities for families to experience Swedish art, culture, and traditions together. Join us in February to explore Alla Hjärtans Dag.

Preschoolers and their important grown-ups discover how Swedish families celebrate Alla Hjärtans Dag, or “All Hearts’ Day,” during this special morning at ASI. Through stories, crafts, and hands-on activities, children explore how people in Sweden use this day to show care and appreciation for the people they love. Together, preschoolers and their important grown-ups explore questions like, “How do Swedish families celebrate Alla Hjärtans Dag?” and “Why do they celebrate it?”

Children will create a special craft, taste Swedish candy, and explore the Castle while discovering the traditions behind this heartwarming holiday. ASI educators guide preschoolers and their important grown-ups through a playful introduction to Swedish culture, encouraging curiosity, creativity, and connection. Participants leave with new ideas for celebrating kindness and togetherness at home.
