Join Subash Yadav, founder of local company Mr. Momo, for a hands-on crash course on one of the happiest foods: the Nepali momo! These tender dumplings are a well-loved Nepali recipe and can be steamed or pan fried. However, there are few tricks for tackling the dumpling dough, fillings, and shaping at home. Subash will share tips and lead students through a practice session, and each student will make enough to taste a few and even take some home.

ASI’s food programs connect people as we celebrate, learn, and share stories together through cooking workshops, demonstrations, dinners, and lectures. ASI’s Our Shared Table series highlights our neighbor’s kitchens, and how food traditions are preserved and changed through the universal experience of migration and exchange.
