About ASI / Instructors / Sue Flanders

Sue Flanders

Sue has been in love with pottery since her senior year in college when she first got clay underneath her fingernails. She has enjoyed teaching clay classes at ASI for the past five years. She is also the co-author of “Swedish Handknits: A Collection of Heirloom Designs,” featuring a collection of patterns for sweaters, hats, scarves, mittens, headbands, and bags, all inspired by the historic textiles in the American Swedish Institute’s collection.
