Josie Cooke

Josie is a spinner, weaver, knitter, and basketmaker who is extensively involved with the Duluth Fiber Guild, the Three Rivers Fibershed, and the Slow Fashion movement. With a deep appreciation for historical craft and its modern application, her classes include spinning on the drop spindle and spinning wheel, as well as card, table and floor loom weaving. Classes and demonstrations can be found at American Swedish Institute, North House Folk School, Avon Hills Folk School, and the Lake Superior Traditional Ways Gathering.
