Jess Hirsch

Jess Hirsch, founder of Fireweed Community Woodshop, received her MFA from the University of Minnesota in sculpture. She apprenticed with Jim Sannerud studying sloyd through the Minnesota State Arts Board Folk and Traditional Art grant. Jess currently balances her time between green woodworking and carpentry.
