Jess Hirsch

Jess Hirsch, founder of Women’s Woodshop, received her MFA from the University of Minnesota in sculpture. She apprenticed with Jim Sannerud studying sloyd through the Minnesota State Arts Board Folk and Traditional Art grant. Jess currently balances her time between greeen woodworking and conceptual art projects around healing.
