Dr. Devashree Gupta is a professor of political science and international relations at Carleton College. Her area of expertise is European politics, with a particular focus on nationalism, populism, social protest, and conflict. She teaches courses on these topics as well as a class on the Eurovision Song Contest. This class explores the relationship between politics, national identity, and popular culture.
