Dr. Áila O’Loughlin

Dr. Áila O’Loughlin is a Sámi-American philosophy professor at North Hennepin Community College and a former high school English teacher of ten years. As a heritage learner of North Sámi, Áila is passionate about cultivating Sámi language and culture groups in Minnesota–home to the largest population of Sámi diaspora in the United States.
