Daniel Haataja (he/him) is a Twin Cities-born Finnish American who has taught Finnish at a variety of institutions: the University of Minnesota, UiT The Arctic University of Norway in Tromsø, ASI, and Salolampi. He is passionate about demystifying Finnish and helping students become proficient in a language he likes to call “different,” not difficult.
