Spring 2027 term will run from January 30 – May 15, 2027, for a total of 14 sessions. No class on February 20 or March 27.

Lilla Skolan Edit

Lilla Skolan

A program for Swedish-speaking children between 3 and 6 years old, Lilla Skolan features story time, music and a craft followed by free play. Lilla Skolan is an immersive Swedish environment, and at least one Swedish-speaking parent must be with the child during the lesson. Lilla Skolan meets at the same time as Svenska Skolan, so it’s perfect for families with children in both groups. Come and play, in Swedish!

Children are seated around a table, drawing on paper and decorating small wooden shapes with markers. A blue tray filled with markers is in the center of the table.

Svenska Skolan

Svenska Skolan is a Swedish language and culture program for kids ages 7 to 14 with instruction structured to meet the needs of children at all levels of Swedish familiarity. Svenska Skolan meets on Saturday mornings during the school year with two terms beginning in September and January. Participants learn or practice their Swedish in an interactive environment as they play, create, sing, and have fun på svenska!
