This class meets weekly for 12 Thursdays from September 17–December 10, 2026. Class does not meet the week of November 23.
An advanced-level Swedish literature course taught by Jessica Karlsson. This class will start reading a new novel, Je M’appelle Agneta by Emma Hamberg, and will read around 25 pages per week, finishing the novel in one term. The instructor incorporates layers of cultural concepts from the book to enhance class discussions.
Required materials: Je M’appelle Agneta by Emma Hamberg. Advanced registration required.
