Starting with Slöjd is a monthly program for early elementary students. Participants explore new tools, materials, and skills that prepare them for a lifelong love of handcraft. In Ingrid Aune’s woodcarving class, kids will focus on mastering the craft, prioritizing safety and technique over quickly finishing a project. By exploring knife holds and learning step-by-step, they will build a strong foundation and gain a deeper appreciation for the art of woodcarving.

Additional information:

    • This is a drop-off program. Adults may not accompany children during this program.
    • Suitable for students in grades K-2.
    • Advanced registration required.
