This class meets weekly for 12 Mondays from September 14–December 7, 2026. Class does not meet the week of November 23.
A new beginning I Swedish class taught by Jean Hanslin. This class is suitable for students who are brand new to Swedish. Kort Kurs 1 is ideal for students with limited or no prior language-learning experience. The class moves at a more relaxed pace than New Beginning I Swedish classes, using the Rivstart A1/A2 textbooks and a special digital course packet called Kort Kurs 1, which includes some English translations. It lays a good Swedish foundation for future studies or can serve as a standalone course for students looking for just a taste of Swedish.
Required materials: Kort Kurs 1 course packet, which is included in the class cost. Students will receive the course packet via email from ASI the week before class starts. This class meets virtually. Advanced registration required.
