Willow branches cut from the riverbanks of southern Minnesota can be used to make baskets, decorative knots, wooden caribeaners, fasteners, hoops, dolls, creatures, and much more. In this workshop, instructor Jake Fee will teach students to create and enjoy several of these small projects using responsibly-harvested local willow.

Additional information:

  • This class will plan to take place outside. In case of inclement weather, the class will be held in Classroom A in the lower level of the Turnblad Mansion.
  • Advanced registration required.
  • A $10 materials fee is due in class to the instructor, and covers all materials and tools.
