Dive deeper into the world of Nordic classical music with University of Wisconsin-Madison’s faculty ensemble, Wingra Wind Quintet. This group featuring flute, oboe, clarinet, horn and bassoon will present works by Nordic composers. Founded in 1965, the Wingra Wind Quintet is one of the longest-running quintets in the nation. Known for artistic and pedagogical excellence, the ensemble has consistently presented concerts and workshops around the globe to rave reviews.
The FIKA Supper Club series brings Nordic-inflected folk, jazz and classical artists to ASI. Optionally, guests may enjoy extended dinner hours at FIKA Café before the concert, then step into Larson Hall for a musical treat beginning at 7 pm. Don’t miss these nights of musical and culinary delight!
