Calling all young foodies and aspiring chefs! Join ASI this summer for an unforgettable culinary experience led by the renowned Patrice Johnson, beloved Nordic Table Instructor at the American Swedish Institute and author of the captivating cookbook, Land of 1,000 Plates. In this exciting one-day camp designed for children ages 6-10, your little chef will dive into the fascinating world of Nordic-inspired cuisine under the expert guidance of Patrice Johnson herself. With her infectious enthusiasm and warm teaching style, she’ll inspire young chefs to whip up delicious Nordic treats while discovering the stories and traditions behind each recipe. From mastering basic kitchen skills to exploring the rich tapestry of Nordic food and culture, this camp promises to spark creativity and culinary curiosity in every young participant.

Registration closes 3 weeks before the camp begins. Children should come prepared with their lunch, a water bottle, and sun protection. Everyone must wear appropriate clothing for messy art projects and outdoor activities. Camp starts at 9 am, so we kindly ask adults to drop off their campers 10-15 minutes before the scheduled start time. Pick-up will be promptly at 3 pm.
