Join Patrice Johnson for an introduction to ASI’s Nordic Table program in this demonstration-based class. You will get to share a light meal and learn about the central tenets of New Nordic cuisine, including the use of seasonal and locally sourced ingredients. The discussion will also touch upon how migration, trade, and environment have influenced and preserved food traditions throughout Scandinavia and Scandinavian-American communities in the past 150 years. The menu and discussion will showcase the diverse, colorful, and nutritious aspects of the Nordic Table.

This class includes a light dinner of an appetizer, salad, vegetarian barley risotto, dessert, and coffee. Please notify ASI of any dietary restrictions in advance.
