Add some new life to well-loved clothing using some basic darning and mending techniques! Students are invited to bring some of their own clothes to darn and mend using tools and supplies provided by instructor Riley Kleve. Selecting materials, using various tools, and the best way to care for mended and darned clothing will be covered in class. Participants will leave with new techniques for beautiful mends to add color, pattern, and durability to clothing. Previous hand-sewing experience will allow students to make the most progress in class but all levels of experience are welcome. Suitable for all levels, ages 16+.
A $10 materials fee is payable to the instructor and covers all mending materials and tools used in class.
