Join potter Kim Burnham of Imokim Pottery to try out decorating a ceramic vase with carved and decorated details while enjoying a beverage from FIKA Café! Students will have the opportunity to sketch out their own designs or use a provided template. Kim will throw a selection of bud vases before class and then share tips and tricks for adding simple images to greenware. The pieces (approximately 6″x3”) will be glazed with a top clear coat and then fired before returning to ASI for pick up a few weeks after class. One beverage from FIKA Café is included in the class fee.
A $30 materials fee is paid to the instructor in class and covers all tools and materials. This class is suitable for ages 21+.
