Get ready to deck out your fairy garden with mushrooms, creatures, gnomes and more! Students of all ages are invited to make a dozen tiny clay decorations perfect for tucking in a potted plant, fairy garden, or just on a shelf. From mushrooms to animals to little gnomes, students will build and then paint their clay creations with colorful underglazes. Then instructor Sue Flanders will take home the projects to be clear glazed and fired in her studio so that they can take on anything the weather throws at them. Then the projects will be returned to ASI for pick up.
A $10 materials fee per student covers the materials and kiln firing. Suitable for ages 18+, or students ages 9-17 may register alongside an adult student at a reduced rate.
