Create a fun and memorable themed party for your special birthday child (or grandchild). They’ll love it, their friends will love it, and you’ll love it, too, because ASI will do the set up and clean up and organize all the activities!
Birthday parties can be booked on Friday, Saturday and Sunday mornings or afternoons depending on availability. Birthday parties must be booked 3 weeks in advance to help staff plan your party. Perfect for kids turning 5 to 12.
Families are responsible for providing cake or cupcakes (no refrigeration available) and beverages for partygoers. Additional food options may be ordered through Slate & Stone, ASI’s on-site catering division. Food must be ordered at least 7 days prior to the party.
1 – 10 Children and 2 adult museum admissions: $250 (ASI Household Member) $300 (Non-member)
11 – 15 Children and 4 adult museum admissions: $350 (ASI Household Member) $400 (Non-member)
$20 per additional child Additional adults can purchase museum admission at the front desk.
A $100 nonrefundable deposit is required when booking a birthday party. The remainder of the cost will be paid at ASI on the day of the party.

Decorate a cake inspired by the popular Swedish prinsesstårta! Party guests will personalize crowns and aprons before decorating their own personal cakes with whipped cream, jam, and colorful marzipan.
Celebrate your birthday with one of Sweden’s most beloved characters! Attendees will play Pippi bingo, create a Pippi-inspired craft, and become a “thing-finder” during a scavenger hunt in the historic Turnblad Mansion.
Giddy up! Partygoers will search for Dala horses in the Turnblad Mansion before decorating their own wooden Dala horse, one of the most enduring symbols of Sweden.
