Cocktails at the Castle Returns September 14

July 24, 2024 By Darby Johnson

MINNEAPOLIS—The American Swedish Institute presents the return of Cocktails at the Castle on Saturday, September 14, at the historic Turnblad Mansion and its beautiful grounds.

Experience an unforgettable evening this fall as Cocktails at the Castle brings together live music, Nordic-inspired art, and unexpected delights. Across ASI’s campus, guests can enjoy independent bands, various pop-up activities, unique food and drinks, and explore the museum galleries—all on this adults-only night.

Themed “Country House Party,” this year’s event takes inspiration from ASI’s current exhibition, Karin Larsson: Let the Hand Be Seen, on display through October 27. The night promises an exciting array of activities, including headlining performances by up-and-coming Minnesota artists, an ABBA drag show, palm readings, a mini golf course, riddle masters, weaving and wool dyeing crafts, and much more.

“Join us for an unforgettable night where the Turnblad Mansion meets the fun of a country house party. This is the ultimate way to celebrate art, music, and community!” said ASI Program Manager Britta Walstrom.
