In his textile life Keith weaves bands, belts and sashes using a variety of weaving techniques, including tablet weaving, backstrap weaving and Nordic/Baltic pick-up. He has studied historical and ethnic band-weaving methods and structures from around the world and has incorporated these in his work and his teaching. His pieces have been displayed in several exhibitions and at the Minnesota State Fair.
