Faith Clover taught art education at the University of Minnesota and introduced her students to Swedish handcrafts. While leading a study abroad trip to Sweden, she visited Sätergläntan in Dalarna. An institution with a mission to promote and foster the learning of traditional art and craft of the Scandinavian region. While visiting, she took classes in this relatively unknown craft of luffarslöjd, or wire art, and is now inspiring interest in a new group of crafters. Faith has helped American Swedish Institute develop its handcraft programming and provided curriculum. Faith is also an accomplished botanical artist, and has tried just about every craft at least once!
