Natalie has been a part of the cultural needlework community for over 20 years. She has participated as vendor, demonstrator and teacher at venues such as ASI, Gammelgården and Marine Mills Folk School. Sponsored by the Swedish Embassy in Washington DC, her embroidered pieces were included in a traveling exhibit which included 5 major American cities and completed a 1.5 year tour in Stockholm, Sweden. ASI has also presented her embroidered waistbags on display. In 2019, Natalie received a fellowship from American Scandinavian Foundation to study a cultural, traditional form of folk art. Courses in fritt broderi at Sätergläntan in Dalarna and påsöm at the Mora Folk School have added a new dimension to her embroidery and to the desire to share this passion.
