This class runs Friday and Saturday, November 14 & 15, 2025, 10 am-5 pm both days.
Choose your adventure in this two-day wet felting class. Students who are feeling festive may choose to felt an elf or Santa hat, elf slippers, or chimney stocking. Sauna-inspired students can create a sauna ensemble, including a wool sauna hat and slipper set. Wet felting three-dimensional objects is an exciting transformation of wool fiber. Led by felting instructor Elise, students begin with a small 3-D object to practice, before moving on to create larger wearable items. Students will create custom resists for their hats and footwear, as they design them to fit themselves, how they will be used, and their aesthetic. Physical ability: Students need good hand strength and the ability to stand for extended periods in this wet felting class. Skill level: Open to all skill levels. No felting experience required. Ages: Suitable for ages 14+. A materials fee of around $75 due to the instructor in class, depending on chosen projects. If possible, students should bring 2-3 old bath towels, a bag to take home wet projects, and an apron.
