Starting with Slöjd is a monthly program for early elementary students who want to start crafting! Whether it’s playing with wool, wire, paper, or more, this group will explore new tools, materials, and skills that prepare kids for a lifelong love of slöjd (handcraft). ASI designed these drop-off programs for students in grades K-2.

Join ASI instructor Anna Ruhland for a nature-inspired wreath-making class. Students will learn to weave wreaths from Minnesota-harvested red osier dogwood and other foliage, creating beautiful seasonal decorations. This class may take place outside, weather permitting. Please be sure to dress appropriately for the outdoors, bring a water bottle, and wear sun protection.
