School Break Camp: Swedish Celebrations Throughout the Year

What holidays do families in Sweden celebrate that many Minnesotans don’t? In this one-day camp, kids ages 6–10 will explore the Swedish calendar through music, movement, stories, and hands-on activities. ASI educators guide children through the year, using all five senses to experience each celebration like a Swede.

Registration closes Monday, January 5, at 10 am. One adult receives museum admission to explore the Turnblad Mansion and current exhibition, along with access to a shared workspace during camp hours. Children should bring a lunch, a water bottle, and dress for messy art-making. Adults will receive detailed camp information after registration—advanced registration required.
