Get ready to try your hand at preparing some traditional Ethiopian and Eritrean recipes with Chef Mimi! Students will learn a little about the food traditions of these historic East African countries while preparing a variety of light, flavorful, and healthy dishes with plenty of legumes and vegetables.
This is a workshop-style class that includes some participation to prepare a light meal. Coffee and tea provided; additional beverages are available for purchase before class. Please note this menu contains gluten and dairy, so please reach out if you have questions about dietary accommodations.
ASI’s food programs connect people as we celebrate, learn, and share stories together through cooking workshops, demonstrations, dinners, and lectures. Our Shared Table highlights our neighbors’ kitchens and how food traditions are preserved and changed through the universal experience of migration and exchange.
