Taking inspiration from Nordic herbal traditions, spend an afternoon joyfully exploring the generational wisdom and knowledge of medicinal herbs and wild foods with herbalist, writer, and instructor Gigi Risberg Stafne. This workshop is grounded in both modern understandings of herbal medicine and the Norse mythology and oral traditions of Sunna, the Norse Sun goddess and healer. Using seasonal plants embodying sun and fire elements appropriate for the shift to summer, students will make at least three herbal preparations to take home, including an elixir, a flower essence, and an herb bundle.
