(SOLD OUT) Needle Felted Tomte Ornaments

Take inspiration from Tomte’s journey into the fantastical realm of ASI’s holiday exhibit, Tomte Tales: Legends of Winter, and create a sweet woolly tomte! In this evening-long class, Felter Jen will provide a colorful array of wool batting and plenty of design inspiration to guide students through shaping and decorating a tomte (Scandinavian folklore figure) using basic needle felting techniques. Then, students will finish by adding a string to create an ornament perfect for gifting or decorating for the holidays. Skill level: Open to all skill levels. Ages: Suitable for ages 16+. Get ready to create a tomte made out of wool! All materials are provided; a $25 materials fee is payable to instructor Jen Newburg for your projects at the beginning of class.
