Join local home cook and Khazana gallery owner Anju Kataria for an evening of sharing family recipes and stories. Anju will share some of her favorite comfort foods, originating from multiple parts of India. As they enjoy spiced tea, chickpea pancakes with lime pickles, lentil soup, lemon rice, and a sesame jaggery dessert, students will hear about how these recipes fit Anju’s approach of preparing fresh vegetarian ingredients to support whole body wellness.

ASI’s food programs connect people as we celebrate, learn, and share stories together through cooking workshops, demonstrations, dinners, and lectures. ASI’s Our Shared Table series highlights our neighbor’s kitchens, and how food traditions are preserved and changed through the universal experience of migration and exchange. Our Shared Table is sponsored by Sahan Journal.
