This evening-long workshop invites students to create their own ceramic luminary to light up their summer evenings. While enjoying a complimentary beverage from FIKA Café, students will select a pre-shaped luminary (about 4″ tall) and add decorations through carved designs, then select from multiple glaze options.

Additional information:

  • A $25 materials fee is paid to the instructor in class and covers all tools and materials.
  • A beverage from FIKA Café is included in the class fee.
  • Kim will bring the luminaries back to her studio to fire them, then return them to ASI for pick up a few weeks later.
  • Skill level: Open to all skill levels.
  • Ages: Craft and Cocktails programs are suitable for ages 21+.
  • Advanced registration required.
