Join potter Kim Burnham of Imokim Pottery to decorate a ceramic dish with the sgraffito technique while enjoying a beverage from FIKA Café. Students will learn the basics of adding a design to ceramics by carving and painting on a round greenware base measuring 6.5″ x 4.5″ x .75”. Use the instructor’s template or bring ideas for your own design to create a cute dip dish or trinket tray. Kim will glaze your project with a top clear coat and fire it before returning to ASI for pickup a few weeks after class.

  • Advanced registration required.
  • Open to all skill levels
  • Suitable for ages 21+
  • A $30 materials fee is paid to the instructor in class and covers all tools and materials.
  • One beverage from FIKA Café is included in the class fee.
  • Fired projects will be returned to ASI for pick up a few weeks after class.
