Join potter Kim Burnham of Imokim Pottery to decorate a ceramic dish with the sgraffito technique while enjoying a beverage from FIKA Café. Students will learn the basics of adding a design to ceramics by carving and painting on a round greenware base measuring 6.5″ x 4.5″ x .75.” Use a template provided by the instructor or bring ideas for your own design to create a cute dip dish or trinket tray. Kim will glaze the projects with a top clear coat and fire them before returning them to ASI for pick up a few weeks after class.

Additional information:

  • A $30 materials fee is paid to the instructor in class and covers all tools and materials.
  • One beverage from FIKA Café is included in the class fee.
  • Skill level: Open to all skill levels.
  • Ages: Suitable for ages 21+.
  • Advanced registration required.
