DESCRIPTION:Explore the art of needle felting with felter Jen Newburg and create a woolen tomte figurine. \n\nThis program is sold out. To be added to the waitlist\, please call 612-871-4907.  \n\nCreate a sweet woolly tomte to take home with you this holiday season! In this hands on workshop\, felter Jen Newburg will provide a colorful array of wool batting and plenty of design inspiration to guide students through shaping and decorating a tomte (Scandinavian folklore figure) using basic needle felting techniques. Then\, students will finish by adding a string to create an ornament perfect for gifting or decorating for the holidays. \nAdditional information: \n\nAdvanced registration required.\nGet ready to create a tomte made out of wool! All materials are provided; a $25 materials fee is payable to instructor Jen Newburg for your projects at the beginning of class.\n\n  \nPrerequisites: \n\nSkill level: Open to all skill levels.\nAges: Suitable for ages 16+. A discounted tuition rate is available for ages 16-17 at checkout.
