DESCRIPTION:Gear up for baking season with some fun variations on the classic Swedish cinnamon roll! Kanelbullar are a staple treat for a Swedish fika or coffee break and usually feature a cinnamon filling\, cardamom scented sweet dough\, and pearl sugar on top. But Kristi Bissell of the Nordic-inspired food blog True North Kitchen is ready to share not only her favorite cinnamon roll dough\, but two fun new ways to put it to use: cute gifflar (mini crescent buns) and entertaining-worthy apple filled slices. After this demonstration\, students will be ready to knead\, shape\, and bake their own buns just in time for Cinnamon Bun Day on October 4! \nAdditional information:\nAdvanced registration required. \nVirtual class requirements: This is a live virtual class taught over Zoom. Students need a strong internet connection and a device with video capabilities. \nClass structure: This class is designed as a demonstration so students can watch the entire process and ask questions before tackling the dishes at home. The recipe packet will be available for download one week in advance. \nClass recording: Anyone is welcome to register for the class even if they don’t plan to attend live\, as the class is recorded.
