Cardamom in the Nordic Kitchen

Join Kristi to home in on one of the Nordic countries’ favorite spices: cardamom! Used around the world to add a floral flavor to sweet and savory dishes, Kristi will share a few recipes from her blog, True North Kitchen, that highlight this spice in a classic cardamom cake, an easy make-ahead muesli, and a beverage, cookie, or savory dish. Kristi will share how she sources and approaches using different types of cardamom in her kitchen and send students off with inspiration for incorporating this spice into their own cooking.

Virtual Class Information

This is a live virtual class taught over Zoom. Students need a strong internet connection and a device with video capabilities.

This class is designed as a demonstration, so students can watch the entire process and ask questions before tackling the dishes at home at a later date. The recipe packet will be available for download one week in advance. Anyone is welcome to register for the class even if they don’t plan to attend live, as the class will be recorded, and the recording made available for all registrants for one month after class for re-viewing.
