Join Chef Scott Graden of the North Shore’s acclaimed New Scenic Café to find out what the fuss is about with beets! We’ll use beets to add color and flavor to an array of Scandinavian-inspired dishes. From rye to cured salmon to lingonberries, this class leans heavily on Nordic flavors to complement fresh and pickled beets. In this demonstration-based class, students will enjoy demonstrations of multiple dishes, insights into Chef Scott’s process, and of course, many chances to taste.
This is a demonstration-style class and includes a complete meal plus a take-home treat from the New Scenic Café. Coffee and tea are provided; additional beverages can be purchased before class. Please note this menu will contain nuts, seafood, gluten, and dairy; vegetarian main courses are not available for this course. This class is suitable for ages 18+.
