Visit the trolls in the holiday exhibition\, then join Carole Jean Anderson and Patrice Johnson for this evening demonstration featuring some favorite recipes from the Jolly Troll menus. Carole Jean will share memories (and maybe a few songs) from her life in the Jolly Troll restaurant family\, and Patrice will cook up an assortment of holiday treats\, from cranberry fluff to meatballs to rice pudding. \nAdditional information: \n\nThis class includes a light meal. SUMMARY:Craft and Cocktails Workshop: Carve and Paint a Ceramic Ornament with Kim Burnham
DESCRIPTION:ASI’s Craft and Cocktails workshops are fun and approachable sessions in community. Join potter Kim Burnham to carve and paint a ceramic ornament. \nJoin potter Kim Burnham of ImoKim Pottery to try out decorating a ceramic ornament with the sgrafitto technique while enjoying a beverage from FIKA Café! Students will learn the basics of adding a design to ceramics by carving and painting on a round 3.5″ greenware ornament base. Use a template provided by the instructor or bring ideas for your own design! The ornaments will be glazed with a top clear coat and then fired before returning to ASI for pick up a few weeks after class. One beverage from FIKA is included in the class fee. \nAdditional information: \n\nAdvanced registration required.\nA $25 materials fee is paid to the instructor in class and covers all tools and materials.\nA beverage from FIKA Café is included in the class fee.\nFired ornaments will be returned to ASI for pickup a few weeks after class.\n\n  \nPrerequisites: \n\nSkill level: Open to all skill levels.\nAges: Craft and Cocktails programs are suitable for ages 21+.
