Workshop: So You Can Knit, Now What?

This program has been canceled.

This class runs Wednesdays, May 18 and 25, 6:30-8:30 pm each session.

Have you made a simple scarf but want to step up your knitting game? The secret to knitting is that a few simple skills (along with a little confidence) set you on the path to figure out even complicated-looking patterns. Students who can cast on/off and knit by themselves but feel uncomfortable reading a pattern, increasing/decreasing, knitting in the round, or troubleshooting mistakes will find lots of support in this two-week class. Together, the class will start a simple hat pattern and walk through these common hang-ups for newer knitters. Steel yourself and take the plunge – by the end of this class, you’ll feel empowered to go after any knitting project! This class requires students to provide their own materials. Please see the materials list.

This is a live virtual class taught over Zoom. Students need a strong internet connection and a device with video capabilities.
