Winterberry Block Printed Gift Wrap

This program was originally scheduled to run November 12, 2025 but has been rescheduled to November 19, 2025. Registration remains open until November 19.

Create eco-friendly gift wrap at home! In this introductory block printing class, textile artist Kayla Ann will guide students through thoughtfully designing their winter-themed block or stamp. Kayla suggests bringing winter motif inspiration; bigger shapes with minimal detail work best. Kayla will also provide designs to use as templates, if you want to recreate the Winterberry pattern she designed. This winter shrub’s striking red berries are a familiar winter feature to many who live in a northern climate. Students will then use their carved stamps and ink to block print on fabric. Wrap up gifts for the holiday in your finished textile, which can be used time and time again! These skills will work for all kinds of future printing projects on paper or fabric, plus you’ll have reusable stamps and all the tools you need to keep printing.
