Find healing, nourishment, and new energy from wild botanicals as we mark the coming of spring in our northern landscape! In spring, we, as people living in the north, experience a seasonal shift as we release winter’s tight hold. We crave power-packed wild foods and herbs to balance and bolster our bodies through outside changes. Join instructor Gigi Risberg Stafne MH, ND, for this energizing workshop designed to clear, cleanse, and nourish our minds and systems, focusing on the wild plants found across the northern hemisphere during this season. Drawing from Scandinavian traditions, students will taste wild edibles, create several herbal preparations to take home and reflect on the changing seasons in a nurturing atmosphere.
A $30 materials fee is payable to the instructor in class. Students are also invited to bring a lidded glass jar, a bag to carry home their creations, note-taking materials, and a bag lunch (or plan to eat at FIKA Café).
