Thurs. Intermediate Swedish Conversation – Karlsson

A themed intermediate level Swedish conversation class taught by instructor Jessica Karlsson.  The class will use the current exhibit Salad Hilowle: Inscriptions in conjunction with readings from the book Afrosvenskar—15 berättelser ur historien by Johanna Berg, and historical materials about the Swedish colony of Saint Barthélemy, 1784-1878.

Discussions will center around Afro-Swedes throughout history, starting in the 1600s. Reading materials provided by instructor. This class meets in person at ASI.
